About this podcast series.

Dreading Sundays is a podcast where SEO, digital PR and digital marketing professionals come onto the show and share how they have progressed in their career so that you can follow in their footsteps.

Through the course of this series, featured guests will cover the following questions:

  • How much does a SEO executive, junior, specialist, senior specialist, manager, director earn?
  • What career prospects exist for a content writer?
  • How should I prepare for an internal performance review?
  • What should I put in my resume when applying for a junior SEO role?
  • What should I highlight in my career when applying for a senior SEO role?
  • Should I switch careers from my current career to SEO?
  • How have other people of colour advanced in their careers?
  • What do recruiters look for when scanning SEO candidates?
  • How can I improve my interviewing skills?

1. English is not my first language (aka, I speak with an accent)

If English is not your native tongue then you are exactly who I want on the show.

I want to amplify the stories and experiences of people who LOOK LIKE YOU and SOUND LIKE YOU so that YOU feel EMPOWERED and INSPIRED to take action to further your earning potential and professional career.

2. I’m nervous

Here is a little secret that most people don’t know about me. I’m nervous too and just before any recording, I have thoughts of cancelling.

So I get it.

Many of you aren’t confident with public speaking.

Many of you have never been interviewed.

And this is 100% why I produce this podcast so that your unique experiences can be heard by people who can relate.

If this is your first time being interviewed, I will take care of you and the flow of the recording will reflect a natural conversation.

As I always tell my podcast guests, if you find yourself stumbling or loss for words – it’s OK! The magic of audio editing is here to help.

3. I don’t think I have anything worthwhile to share

Trust me, someone else will go through the exact challenges you have faced and hearing how you overcame it will give them the motivation to do it themselves.

4. I don’t have a microphone

If you do not have a microphone and/or set of earphones or headphones, I will buy you a set.

PS – The line up for season one is filled but we are taking registrations for season two (JAN 2023)

Producing a podcast is very time-intensive. It also costs a bit of money to host the episodes on RSS.com, record episodes via Riverside.fm, Canva for cover art, and create audiogram teasers with Headliner.

This is why I have a Buy Me A Coffee set up so that some of the costs can be offset by generous people such as you who also share my vision of helping others further their career.

Don’t miss out when new episodes are released.
